The Training Experience
As part of my continued focus on minimally invasive and technology-driven cancer surgery, I participated in the Robotic-Assisted Thoracic Surgery Advanced Course at IRCAD India, held on 23–24 July 2026.
The advanced programme combined focused academic learning with hands-on robotic surgical training, delivered at IRCAD India in July 2026.

Robotic-assisted thoracic surgery offers high-definition magnified three-dimensional vision and articulated instrumentation.
This allows enhanced dexterity and precise dissection within confined anatomical spaces.

Hands-on robotic training
The course covered operative planning, robotic instrumentation and console technique, followed by surgical dissection under expert guidance.
